U2's "The Edge" has now been wearing a woollen bobble hat for about twenty years.

This isn't a good look. All I think when I see him is how greasy and sweaty and uncomfortable it must be under there.

I heard it was the bands PR company or similar who came up with this look. But did they actually mean for it to be permanent?

I mean, their music has sort of changed over time, but the wardrobe, with the Edges woollen hat, and Bono's even more annoying fly glasses, hasn't changed at all. Can't someone please shout "wardrobe" before they appear again or organise Trinny and Susannah to have them stripped, washed and both given makeovers.

I watched a documentary on E4 tonight called "A day in the life of the edge". This actually featured him on a beach, with bikini clad ladies in the background, and the Edge wearing a woollen hat. I don't think I would mind if he was in Canada and the hat provided insulation,  but on a beach, in the sun??

I must confess I wan't able to watch the whole programme;it was just too boring. I agree, the hat isn't a good look.
